The Editorial Board of Engineering Education Review (EER) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Manivannan Kaliappan of R.M.K. Engineering College, India, as a new Editorial Board Member.

Dr. Kaliappan serves as Dean of External Affairs and Professor of Information Technology at R.M.K. Engineering College. He is also an Executive Council Member of the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) and Chair of the GEDC India Chapter. With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, he has been actively involved in fostering collaboration between academia and industry, with interests in educational quality assurance, innovation and entrepreneurship, and engineering talent development.

His research interests include theoretical fluid mechanics, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, data mining, fuzzy logic, and graph theory. His appointment will further strengthen EER’s international network and support collaboration in engineering education and interdisciplinary research.
