The Editorial Board of the Engineering Education Review (EER) is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Greet Langie from KU Leuven (Belgium) as a new Editorial Board Member. Professor Langie is a full professor at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, KU Leuven. With a doctoral background in physics, her research focuses on Engineering Education Research, specifically addressing the critical transitions of engineering students from secondary education to higher education, and from higher education to professional life. In addition to her academic tenure, Professor Langie holds prominent leadership roles within the international engineering education community, currently serving as the Vice-President of the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI). She previously served as the Vice Dean of Education at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, KU Leuven from 2012 to 2020, and is the founder of the KU Leuven Engineering and Science Education Center (LESEC). Furthermore, she serves as a consulting expert for the National Talent-Introduction Base for Interdisciplinary Innovation in Engineering Education at Tsinghua University. The EER Editorial Board warmly welcomes Professor Langie and looks forward to her valuable contributions to the journal's academic development.
